MRC has successfully developed #395 Prepreg achieving high level of both toughness and quick cure.

1. Features of #395 Prepreg

A: Quick Cure
Benefit: #395 Prepreg can be cured in a shorter duration comparing with conventional prepreg (130 Celsius degree cure), which assists customers to improve productivity.
#395 Prepreg also helps reduce energy consumption (heating for cure), which results in reducing total cost and environmental load through the production process.

MRC Test Data

• #395 Prepreg is fully cured under 130 Celsius degree in 30 min comparing with conventional curing condition of 130 Celsius degree in 1 hour in sheet wrapping application.
• #395 Prepreg is fully cured under 140 Celsius degree in 5 min in press forming application.

B: High Toughness
The toughness of #395 Prepreg is excellent by applying “Block Copolymer Technology”

• 40% toughness improvement is achieved as resin base. (comparing with conventional resin)

C: Low Resin Flow
#395 Prepreg has controlled less Resin Flow aiming at excellent surface appearance of finished products.
