The main ingredient Acrylonitrile (AN) has a texture similar to cashmere and wool. It can have functions such as heat generation, heat insulation, antistatic, deodorant, quick-dry and antibacterial. Thus, it is widely used in sweaters, sports apparel, underwear and socks, and also other applications such as blankets, carpets, soft-toys etc. Vonnel has obtained the authentication of Oeko-Tex standard 100 international textiles safety standards.
Wet Core-in-Sheath Acrylic Fiber
Combining different fibers in the core and sheath, properties of different materials can be demonstrated at the same time. The Wet-spun Core-in-Sheath structure is a spinning technology developed by Mitsubishi Rayon.
Micro Acrylic Fiber
Thinner than normal cashmere and Egyptian cotton, it is developed in pursuit of better texture and warmth. Anti-pilling, antistatic, antibacterial type are widely used in underwear, socks and blankets etc.
Anti-pilling Acrylic Fiber

Because of its soft touch and superior anti-pilling function, it is used for apparels such as sweaters and lingerie. It can be combined with other lightweight, anti-bacteria and deodorant etc. materials.
Antibacterial Deodorant Acrylic Fiber
The natural antimicrobial agent "Chitosan" is kneaded into the fiber suppress the growth of bacteria and thus exhibits deodorant effect. It was awarded the SEK blue labels in recognization of its superior deodorant durability.
Short-Cut Acrylic Fiber
Belongs to the Polyacrylonitrile family. Due to its resistance to other chemicals, affinity to dyestuff, non-bulkiness and micro-fiber characteristics, it is widely used in filter, wiping and electronic devices etc.
Commpounnd Atilic Fiber
It is a composite fiber of acrylic and acetate using special technology. Combining features of both materials, this is a new material with antibacterial deodorant function.
Deodorant Acrylic Fiber
4 types of odors: acetic acid, isovaleric acid, nonenal and ammonia due to Perspiration and Old Age can be eliminated simultaneously. This fiber also has moisture-retention property better than normal acrylic fiber. Unlike normal after-processing, the function has been inputted during the fiber manufacturing stage. Therefore, the deordorant function can keep on even after repeat wearing and washing.
Tri-acetate Filament Yarn
This material, which is unique to Mitsubishi Rayon, is widely used in high-class ladies' wear.(SOALON is not sold in raw yarn from : it is available only as finished textile products.)
Di-acetate Filament Yarn
Apart from apparel linings and other clothing uses, LYNDA is used for ribbons and other such decorative applications.
The "Pulsating Fiber"
In dry conditions, crimped fiber inhibits air permeation, while in wet conditions caused by perspiration, fiber expands. Therefore, adjust air ventilation and the clothing environment to increase air permeation. Due to special fiber modification, hydrophilia is enhanced, making it excellent at quickly drying absorbed water.
Acetate-polyester Composite Fiber
Combining other fibers with superior water absorbing properties and polyester fibers with excellent diffusion performance produces a material that is excellent at quickly drying absorbed water and is comfortable and cool on the skin.
Di-acetate tow is used in cigarette filters and has a nearly 50% market share for filters produced in Japan.
