 Acrylic fibers
Our acrylic fibers, using acrylonitrile as the principal raw material, are classified into the wet-spun and dry-spun type, according to the production method. Such fibers have the look and feel of wool, and are used in a wide range of clothing, including sweaters, sportswear, underwear and socks, as well as stuffed toys, blankets, and carpets.
 VONNEL wet-spun acrylic staple fiber
Mitsubishi Rayon’s VONNEL acrylic staple fiber was recently awarded the seal of approval under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 international safety standard for textiles. The fiber can easily be treated to exhibit various value-added properties, including heat-retention, low static build-up, high moisture absorbency, quick drying, and antibacterial and anti-odor properties. Thanks to these features, VONNEL is in strong demand for a wide variety of applications.
