SHINKOLITE

The light transmission of white translucent SHINKOLITE is shown as below. There are two types of light transmission for white SHINKOLITE sheets. The following is a guide to your selection of the right color number. No. N161: Best illumination effect. Ideal for room light diffusers in buildings, supplied only by continuous cast sheet, SHINKOLITE L.

No. 432	Excellent balance in light diffusion and transmission.
No. 434	A little more reflective than No. 432. Good for lighting fixtures in vehicles.
No. 430	Expecially good for sign decks and the applications where high reflection is required.
No. 443	Special deep drawing is possible.

No. 443 sheet has been developed for special applications where deep drawing is required in fabricating lighting fixtures. No. 443 is supplied only by conventionally glass cell cast sheet, conventional glass cell cast sheet S. While other SHINKOLITE sheets must be uniformly heated at over 150°C (300F), the No. 443 sheet is formable at over 130°C (265F). Thus, in formability, it is better than the other white sheets, particularly where deep drawing is involved. Even if wall thickness gets to 1/3 - 1/5 of the original thickness, light diffusion will be satisfactory. When this sheet is made into very deep-formed articles, the back surface-or non-labeled side-of it may appear rough like mat finish. In such a case, the surface color may appear lacking in uniformity.
